Why mental health is so important World Mental Health Day

We all need to understand why mental health is important. World Mental Health Day is on 10th October each year, although we need to be doing all we can to look after ourselves all year round.

There’s still a huge stigma around talking about mental health, when in fact it’s healthy to recognise and vocalise how we are feeling.
 
Mental health is just as vital as our physical health and looking after it helps us to talk about our emotions, have stronger relationships and better cope with change and uncertainty.
