Having a Growth Mindset

'Why a growth mindset is so vital in today's changing world and how to develop one with time, focus and commitment.'

"I can't do it!", "Why does this keep happening to me?" and "I'm going to fail" are all possible indicators of a fixed mindset; an assumption that our basic qualities are fixed and can't be changed in any meaningful way.

Far from the overly chichéd 'positive mental attitude', developing a growth mindset reflects what modern psychology knows about belief systems about our own abilities and how these influence behaviour and success.

In this module, we consider the powerful link between our thoughts, feelings and resulting behaviours. Through application of this awareness, challenges are more willingly embraced and setbacks are more easily overcome.
